This event is a unique one day opportunity for you to learn about SMART™ Technologies products, speak with industry experts and network with your peers in a relaxed environment. This event is absolutely FREE.


SMART Sync 8.1 Basic

Connection with student computers, customizing the settings, working with multiple teachers, managing student progress, managing sent and received files, controlling application/Internet usage.

About the Instructor

Tracey Brown is a certified SMART Education Consultant and SMART trainer. As an Education Consultant for AVI-SPL, Ms. Brown delivers a depth of knowledge, experience and commitment to her customers. Well-regarded for her success as a SMART Education Consultant and SMART Trainer, Ms. Brown focuses on meeting her customer's unique needs and vision. Her expertise includes designing SMART training materials, as well as conducting SMART training and Professional Development for the K-12, university and corporate markets.

Ms. Brown's background highlights a successful role as a middle school science teacher for Calvert County Maryland. She graduated Cum Laude from University of Maryland-College Park with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education, and holds Maryland state certifications for Elementary Education, Middle School Science and High School Biology.

Tracey is available during the school-year to provide on-site demonstrations, training, and Professional Development on any SMART hardware/software solutions that your school enjoys or may be interested in acquiring. She can conduct sessions before or after school and on Staff Development days to best meet the needs of the staff.
